From the very beginning, their communication and responsiveness set them apart. Before calling Horns, I reached out to three other local Williamsburg HVAC companies and couldn’t even get a callback to confirm an appointment. Horns was the complete opposite — prompt, clear, and professional every step of the way.

They did an excellent job walking us through all options, from repair vs. replacement to different equipment levels, without pressure. Kris was fantastic on site, working alongside Justin — both were knowledgeable, respectful, and clearly took pride in their work. Shanna’s communication throughout the process was also excellent and kept everything running smoothly.

The installation itself was flawless. The team laid down drop cloths, kept the work area clean, and even vacuumed afterward — the attention to detail really stood out. On top of that, they corrected an issue from the original builder by adding a proper outside intake that should have been installed from day one.

His additional team member, John, is also terrific. Chris did a thorough analysis of our needs and worked up detailed options. We ended up deciding to replace the broken all-in-one air conditioning/gas furnace unit outside our home with a heat pump system split between an outside condenser and an air handler in our crawlspace. The new American Standard system is extremely efficient (20+ SER) and high-tech, and we are very happy with it. Although the system was not cheap, we still feel it was a terrific value. We will absolutely continue to do business with Horn's, and we're happy we have a company such high caliber we can rely on.
